We made our annual trip to San Antonio to visit Mama & Papa DeHoyos.
We love them so much! I wish they weren't so camera shy so I could get more photos of us with them.
We tried a new place this visit: Morgan's wonderland.
It is an amusement park designed for small children and special needs kids. It is really a cool concept. All the rides are wheelchair accessible. They even have a sensory house for Autistic kids that I think my brother Jay would like. And it is very clean and the staff is friendly.
They had a fishing wharf with poles and bait provided. Even Grayce took some interest in fishing.
And of course, Reese was the first person to catch a fish.
We spent one day in Corpus Christi at the beach:
I told the boys since Grandpa DeHoyos has so much money, a Leprechaun tries to break in every St Patrick's day and steal some. We set a trap to try and catch the Leprechaun. The boys strung a dollar bill to a fork under a shoe box. In the morning they woke up early to check the trap. The dollar bill was gone and in it's place was a note. It said that if the boys could follow his rainbow clues they would find a prize. There was some glitter dust and rainbow confetti leading outside. They followed it all around the backyard till they found this little guy behind Grandpa's shed with a pot of rainbow suckers and chocolate gold coins.
We finished off St Patrick's day by going to the River-Walk and watching the Scottish bagpipe boat dye the river green.
