Edward took Reese to the lake down by our house to feed the ducks, but says Reese was more intent on watching the bread than anything else. In fact, when Edward looked away he snatched a piece and stuffed it in his mouth with lightning quick reflexes (so Edward says). Edward fished the gooey piece out, but that incident combined with the fact that Reese got his first tooth Jan 19th, (Tooth #P for all you Dental Hygiene Nerds ;) makes me think he's ready to try some baby food! So today I steamed, baked, mashed and blended, and I now have ice cube trays of pear, banana, sweet potato, butternut squash, carrot, and avacodo in the freezer. Reese's (and my) personal favorites are the banana and the sweet potato, tastes like puddin' Mmm =P
