School Fun:

Hayden had been sick, so I took the day off work to take care of him, and then miraculously he felt better and wanted to go to school (It was a 24hr bug that eventually passed through all my kids).  So it worked out for me to be able to go and watch his "Kindergarten Hoe-down".  They had a series of races and relay's, and I was grateful to be there.
(His teacher said he kept telling her I was coming, and she kept telling him, "No honey, your Mom works on Wednesday's." so she was relieved for his sake when she saw me walking up.)
Hayden had a crush on Layten, the blonde girl in line next to him.  He talked about her everyday.  Then the other-day he came home from school and told me, "Mom, I decided I want to marry Kylie 'sted of Layten." (He says he wants to marry his sister Grayce all the time too, so his understanding of that concept is limited.) I asked him what made him change his mind.  He said, "Cuz Layten is always getting mad and yelling at me.  And Kylie is really sweet and nice."  I'm glad he's learning these important life lessons early. :)

For the 100th day of school, Reese dressed up like a 100yr old man.
He had fun playing the part and hobbled with a hunch and curled his lips around his teeth to "gum it".

Reese also had a music concert which was super cute:

Hayden's 6th Birthday!

We celebrated this sweet little dude's Birthday at KTR.
                                     It's a scooter/ parkour park.
Grayce & Hazel = double trouble
I'm so grateful to have Hayden as my middle child. He is the glue in the center that holds us all together.
We all adore and love him so much!
I feel bad because the last two years I have ended up having a work event right after I've planned his party.  Last year I had to leave his party 15min early to go to a BLS/CPR certification course.  When I got home I got a big lecture from him on how "You not posed to work on yous kids Birfday Mom! You posed to stay for da whole fing!" This year I ended up having a Perio CE course that once again, I had to leave his party 15 min early to get to.  These courses are expensive if I have to pay for them on my own (and they are required for me to renew my license) so I hate to miss them when they are offered for free through my work.  And both years I've only found out about them after I've sent out his Birthday invitations.  Hayden didn't seem to notice me leave this time, but poor Edward said right after I left Grayce had a big diarrhea accident and that pretty much wrapped up the party.
