Water Blob

I found this idea on pinterest. You use parchment paper to iron together two folds of painters plastic. Then fill it up with the hose and you have a giant water mattress/blob!

Edward purchased these drums partly for himself and partly for the boys ;)

They were one of Reese's Birthday gifts.

Reese turned 3 on Aug 14th. He is such a sweet kind boy when he's not beating up his younger brother. When Hayden is taking a nap, Reese is so careful to be quiet in everything he does. And if I forget and bang a cupboard, or talk above a whisper, or one of the dogs barks, he reminds us with a finger to his lips and a "shhhhhh" that "De baby is a night-night". He has completed a preschool screening evaluation determining that he does need help with speech and will hopefully start therapy soon. During the evaluation the Speech Therapist would point at pictures of objects and ask "What is this?". For drums he pounded out a beat on the table with the palms of his hands. For a puppy he stuck his tongue out and panted. For an airplane he put his arms out to the sides and made a whirring noise. For a telephone he cupped his hand up to his ear. He is the king of charades. We love him so much!
I was experiencing morning sickness and not feeling well in August so we just had a quiet family party this year. I ended up having a miscarriage on Oct 3rd. For journaling purposes I want to note that my last miscarriage was Feb 11, 2009. I believe we have two sweet babies we will meet in heaven some day.

**Also this trip we finally blessed Hayden. Edward performed the baby blessing (Although at 16 months he is hardly a baby anymore). It was really nice to be able to do it with family around. Bishop Skaggs said he'd seen a 4yr old get a baby blessing before, so for us not to worry too much about it. Bishop Jensen was nice enough to let us do it in the hall outside his office. Hayden panicked every time we went inside a room and he saw all the men gathering around him, but out in the hall he did fine and the blessing was beautiful.
