NBA Season Finale Game

The last game of the season the Suns played the Spurs.
We had taken Reese to an ASU Basketball game (Brian got us free tickets), and Reese loved it, so Edward wanted to expose him to "the real deal".

He befriended all the nice people sitting around us,
they gave him their beaters and high fives.
(we kept the fact that we are Spurs fans on the down-low)
The drunk dude two rows down from us even kept turning around to wave at Reese.
He loved it and we had a great time!
(even though the Spurs lost)

School Carnival!

The school behind our house held a fundraising carnival last night,
so we took Reese to check it out.

We went on yet another train ride...

And joined in some with the hip hop kids on the B-ball court...
(sorry, I don't know how to flip the video)

Ok, so things are a little mixed up around here...

Reese no longer sleeps in his basinet so I tolerated Kitty being in there long enough to snap the pic, and I put Reese in the pet bed for just a sec while I was hanging some clothes to dry in the laundry room. My plan is to get a soft rug in there I can set him down on. (Edward says this is bad parenting and I should be ashamed. ;)

Play date!

My good friend from High School -Jen-
had a little baby girl a month before I had Reese.
It is so fun to get together for play dates! Reese really shows off for sweet Lily.

Don't you just love "la luchador nacho bunny" up there ;)

Adopt a grandma for dinner...

The other day while driving home from work we decided to go to Super Salad for dinner, mainly so Reese could taste sample a variety of fruits and veggies. (He has two top and bottom teeth now, so I am officially done nursing.) When we got there it looked like a cruise ship had just come in! The place was packed with sweet old folks. We shared a table with the nicest elderly couple of snowbirds from Minnesota. We had such a nice visit, and Reese just LOVED all the attention he got from all the grandma's cooing over him throughout the course of our meal. =)

Hawaiian Baby =)

This little guy is what I'm most passionate about now. I love him more than words can say.

A friend gave us this Hawaiian outfit for Reese, and I had the marimba's and lea on hand.
I put this marimba shakin' happy boy on the bed to wake up Edward Conference morning =)
Perhaps Edward will feel inspired to take us on a vacation now...

Mobile!

I have been working full-time this past month while one of the gals I work with is on Maternity leave (I hope she comes back soon -I am exhausted). It's at the office in Goodyear so Mon, Tues, and Thurs Edward, Reese and I leave at 5:50am to carpool (the 50 miles) over to that side of town. Some wonderful friends from my old ward provide me with daycare for Reese. He loves playing with their kids, and they are all Mothers I admire and hope to be more like! (Wed Edward watches Reese, and Brian tends him half a day on Sat for me.) I look forward to Fridays and spending the whole day with just him.
He is getting sooo close to crawling and I've been afraid I was going to miss it, so today we've been practicing! I have to coax him to crawl (not roll) to what he wants. He still can't quite get his belly off the ground and flops around some like a spider monkey, but he's getting pretty good! Here's his progress so far:

And this is a fun video of past (failed) attempts:
