Hayden's first Birthday!

Hayden was sick with the flu on his Birthday so we celebrated it late.
In fact shortly after getting over the flu he caught a cold from me and still has a lingering cough and runny nose.  Poor kid can't catch a break.

He is such a sweet sharing boy.  Today at McDonald's he went around the Toddler zone offering a french fry to all the other Mommy's.  He would hold it up and say "eat eat?" and smile that sweet grin of his.  When he gets tired he'll come lay his head on Edward or my lap, melts our hearts every time.
And he does this cute little caveman growl anytime he's excited about something we've given him to eat.  We are so blessed to have him in our family, and love our two sweet boys so much!

By the time the cupcake was gone, his birthday-hat and bib had disappeared too.

"Dank uuu!"

Today I watched Reese run around the back yard, arms outstretched, yelling "thank you!" to the trees every time the wind blew a leaf to the ground.  Made my heart smile.

Boys bedroom!

Christmas Eve I took the crib out of the Nursery to make room for the boys new train table.   I then turned the crib into a toddler bed and put it in the boy's bedroom.  I would like to say that they no longer sleep with their Mama, but that wouldn't be entirely true as I sometimes end up spending the majority of the night in here. However, at least now I can say they no longer sleep in my bed.

The crib never gets slept in and is primarily used for it's trampoline like qualities.  =) The other day I thought to make a hammock across it for the boys stuffed animals, and they both think it's pretty great to swing in too! I love what good friends they are becoming, and it makes me so happy watching them play together.

On two legs!

Somewhere between Christmas and New Year's
Hayden mastered the feat of walking,
And now he RUNS everywhere!
