Outdoors

The weather is so crisp and beautiful right now, I've been trying to take the kids on more outdoor adventures.

 This was the "Riparian Preserve" next to the Gilbert library. It was a beautiful day!

 The boys thought this curvy wall was a "parkour" obstacle course.  Hayden especially has been getting into parkour lately (I swear I don't know where my kids learn this stuff from, I guess school).  Hayden does what he calls "hardcore parkour".  He'll run and jump and climb and push off from the side of walls and obstacles. I need to get a video of him in action.

Not a tomboy

 Taking her dog for a walk in Cinderella slippers, and with every piece of jewelry she owns on. :)

Hard working BATMAN

 Hayden has been on a Batman kick lately.  He has been such a sweet helpful and hardworking batman.  I even caught him out in the rain washing the windows. 

This reminds me, the other day he and Grayce were looking at a library book together.  Hayden would point at the pictures and explain who each character was.  "Dis guy is Iron Man, and dis guy is green hulk smash..." and when he got to Batman his voice changed to a deep raspy, "and dis is BATMAN", and then without skipping a beat he went back to introducing the rest of the characters in his sweet little 4yr old voice.  It cracked me up.  Since then whenever Grayce see's anything Batman she points at it and growls "raawr" (her tiger noise) and says, "scary mom".

Grayce is my other "Big-helper".  ;)

The picture below reminded me of the one above that I took when Grayce was only a few months old.
Naps are important for adults too ;)
