The boys have discovered a new love. Racing!
Reese has always loved going fast. He must have watched the original Lightening McQueen movie a bazillion times as a toddler. He also loved Herbie the Love Bug, which I thought was unusual but fabulous for a two year old to enjoy such an old movie. His first power wheel car he would tip onto two wheels as he careened around and between picnic tables at the playground. All the Mom's would gasp and cover their eyes thinking he was going to crash, but he'd squeeze through or turn just in the nick of time. Edward calls him our Ricky Bobby. When I first heard about K-1 racing I knew the boys would love it, but they have a height requirement of 50 inches, so I had to hold off till Hayden grew a bit more. We've taken them twice this year and they love it. Grayce makes a good cheer leader on the sidelines.
