Story time at the Library

Every Tuesday at 10:30am we try and make it to Wiggle Worms at the Perry Library. 

Miss Tara does an awesome job making in new and exciting every time.  

The boys favorite part is the bubbles at the end.

Summer Fun!

Reese's first official cleaning!

I had a light schedule, so I took Reese to work with me on Wed and cleaned his teeth.

He did much better than I'd anticipated -zoned out watching Wall-E, and let me take x-rays and do Fluoride and everything!  He hung out with me while I cleaned a couple patients after him /just sat quietly in a chair in the corner with a movie, 

till Edward came and picked him up.

 Reese loves to floss.  

I often find him into his Daddy's medicine cabinet, 

sampling the floss there.

Despite all the flossing, he has two cavities.  

I know -shame on me -a hygienist's son.

My boss gave me a Prescription for some Fluoride tablets, 

so hopefully we can get his future permanent teeth impervious to cavities! 

My big Helper

Hayden knows one complete sentence, and it goes like this:

"Uh Oh, Bi Meh!" (Big Mess!)

Almost always the mess was created by him, but besides being my little destroyer, 

he is also my sweet little helping clean boy.

If you look closely at the carpet you can see some little brown specks.  

He loves to throw dog food on the carpet and attempt to vacuum it. 

(Cool talking vacuum was a garage sale toy -all their favorite toys are yard sale finds) 

Random Cuteness

Disney Land!

The first day we went straight to Cars land since Reese's FAVORITE

thing is Lightening McQueen. The first thing he did when he saw the real deal

was point excitedly and say "Vroom Vroom Ka-chow!" 

 

 

 

We saw Pluto at California Adventures, which was perfect since 

Reese was wearing his Pluto shirt that day.

The second day of our trip we went to Disney Land. 

Reese's favorite part of Disneyland was that it had more cars. =)

 "It's a small world" was Hayden's favorite ride for sure! 

He peered intently over the edge of his seat and was mesmerized by everything!

Wed morning Reese and I swam in the hotel's heated pool for a bit 

before we checked out.

This kid loves water and is ready for swim lessons this summer!  

Afterwards we stopped at the beach for a couple hours, and Reese LOVED it!

I think running away from the incoming waves was (almost) as fun as Disneyland ;)

It was good they were able to get some energy out before the long drive back home :)

This was our first real family vacation with just our family and it was relaxing.

I seriously think I could live permanently in a hotel suite sized home
-so much less cleaning! 

(Of course the housekeeping services helped ;)
